ADHD Wild Women Podcast: Episode 8: Reclaiming the Sacred Fire

1

I usually host these on Spotify, Apple, and the usual outlets, but thought I should also bring the podcast over to here, to Substack, as my new central home. I will see about archiving the previous episodes here too at some point.

After a long hiatus, I’ve returned with a relaunch of ADHD Wild Women: a podcast at the intersection of soul, self, and neurodivergence. In this episode, I talk about my ADHD diagnosis journey at 43, the grief and liberation that followed, and how Jungian psychology helped me begin to reframe ADHD not as a disorder to fix, but as a sacred fire to reclaim.

This episode introduces a new (Jungian/depth psychology informed) 12-step journey to reclaim the wild self and explore ADHD in the context of individuation (becoming whole). It also dives into shame, shadow, and masking, explores Jung's transcendent function, and calls for a holistic integration of mind, body, and spirit for neurodivergent women.

If you’ve ever felt misaligned, misunderstood, or burned out by the relentless pressure to “hack” your ADHD to increase your "productivity", this one’s for you. You’re not broken. You’re just wild. And your soul is calling you home.
